MD/PhD Student
Michelle Siao is characterizing transcriptional and epigenetic control of antigenic variation in the malaria parasite. An MD-PhD candidate and National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow, she began research on RNA processing while at Harvard College. Michelle joined the Deitsch Lab in 2014. Her interests include molecular biology, medicine, education, technology, and global health.
Graduated with her PhD in Spring 2020.
