The research focus for this recruitment is microbial pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance of bacteria or parasites. Relevant areas include, but are not limited to, exploring mechanisms of immune evasion or pathogenesis, understanding mechanisms leading to antibiotic resistance, preventing antimicrobial resistant infections, developing novel antibiotics to overcome resistance, or enhancing immune response to antimicrobial resistant pathogens. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an active research group, be an interactive member of the faculty, and participate in interdisciplinary research and training.
