The Carl Nathan, M.D. Lectureship was created to recognize Dr. Carl Nathan’s extraordinary accomplishments and unwavering dedication to the Department of Microbiology and Immunology over the past 27 years. We are excited to welcome you to the inaugural lecture, delivered by John MacMicking, Ph.D. entitled "Host Cell Defense: New Nanomachines in Immunity to Infection" Dr, MacMicking is a Professor of Microbial Pathogenesis and of Immunology at Yale University's School of Medicine.
