Dr. Collins is a Professor at Univeristy of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investisgator. Dr. Collins also holds the endowed titles of Jan and Bob Bullock Distinguished Chair for Science Education; Jane and Bud Smith Distinguished Chair in Medicine, and; Rita C. and William P. Clements, Jr. Scholar in Biomedical Research.
