The Carl Nathan, M.D. Lectureship was created to recognize Dr. Carl Nathan’s extraordinary accomplishments and unwavering dedication to the Department of Microbiology and Immunology over the past 27 years. We are excited to welcome you to the October's lecture, delivered by James Collins, Ph.D. entitled "Understanding the complicated sex lives of parasitic schistosomes". Dr. Collins is a Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Collins is also a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
